California Chrome's Diet road to the Triple Crown .

California Chrome  the miracle beautiful Thoroughbred who won both legs of the Triple Crown in horse racing.

I as a Equine Holistic Practitioner I am intrigue on what they feed California Chrome ?

As you know what goes into your body is energy, put bad food in get bad results right?

Good healthy clean food creates high even happy energy correct?

I am always amazed on how horse owners never look to what their feeding their horses when 

their horses become unsound or even ill .

Lets look at California Chrome body.

No ribs showing very little , when ever I see ribs showing 1/2 way I look to digestion , in my opinion the horse is not digesting properly no matter how much grain the horse gets.

 

(Horses never gain weight on grain way too much acid to break down, horses gain weight on forage grass,hay. ) My feed program

My guess is what I found out ( I searched everywhere ) California diet is oats, hay and probably good absorbancy  minerals with a good pro-biotic.

 

Oats are easily digestible plus they are not GMO 

 

GMO  corn,beet pulp,soy products are all GMO which is hard for the horse to digest

Muscle Testing on Horse Works!

Before : note swollen belly no hind end muscle atrophied, vet did tons of diagnostic test ,
 decided horse had tumor in gut .Horse was off feed and hay just would not eat.

 I Lorrie Bracaloni was called out as a last ditched effort to help this horse.

I told the owner not to expect anything, give one months time then humanely put down.

So we muscle tested the horse, asked what it needed to become well. She did not want to die, this is what she said.

I commend the horse owner who does not want to be identified but gave me rights to share her horses journey. The horse owner had diligently gave her horse what she needed daily without missing a beat, sometimes not easy to treat your own animals for a long length of time, she loves  this horse.

Below is about 6 weeks later the horse has changed over full of energy and eating all her hay , hay pellets , happy runs freely and on her way back to full recovery, we are still doing the whole protocol till the tumor hopefully dislodges , she still says its there but smaller.

I am amazed as I really thought she would have to be put down , truly a miracle-Even though she still looks skinny you can see her butt has filled in , her gut is not swollen, she is digesting much more soon when the grass comes up she will fill in. More pictures to come.

Before Big Sky

Giovanni "Geo" is an 8 year old, 18.3h+ Belgian gelding. When I acquired Geo he was underweight and had a very dull coat to him. The before and after pictures are within two weeks of the diet change. His diet is Big sky minerals, Standlee hay pellets, Black oil sunflower seeds, and Apple cider vinegar. He is currently turned out 24/7 on grass fields. He is in work a few days a week as we are taking it slow.

Meet Candy a Quarter horse mare on commercial feed

Here is a horse named Candy who I worked on yesterday, she is 23 and her digestion and whole body system was shutting down, she was walking pigeon toed in the back end very stiff.

Her diet was commercial grain + corn oil- just vaccinated + ivermictin.

Now the owners other horses were on the same diet except they were younger- Their livers can handle the commercial diet, but over time the straw will break the camels back.

This is Candy after I worked on her-see how her hind end is tucked in, I did some emotional release - we are switching her diet to Big Sky and hay pellets Standlee will take pictures in 2 weeks.
